Associate Professor Human Kinetics/Director – CROSH
Tammy Eger is the Director of the Centre for Research in Occupational Safety and Health (CROSH), and an Associate Professor at Laurentian University in the School of Human Kinetics. Previously she worked as an ergonomist with the Mines and Aggregates Safety and Health Association (now Workplace Safety North) and the Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers. She obtained her masters and doctorate degree in occupational biomechanics from Queen’s University (Kingston, ON, CND). Her research expertise concerns the application of ergonomic and human factors principles in industry. Her current research work involves the assessment of vibration exposure, line of sight, posture and musculoskeletal injury risk during the operation of large industrial equipment.
