GSM Project Management Course Offerings – Spring 2018
These courses are applicable and available to everyone and are NOT mining focused.
The Goodman School of Mines has created a certificate program related to these courses. The certificate program will offer training in resources, techniques, and practices needed to successfully oversee all aspects of managing industrial projects in a wide variety of fields across Northern Ontario. The Goodman School of Mines Project Management Certificate covers the complete project lifecycle from initiating, through project planning and execution, to project close-out.
The certificate is divided into two sets of courses, beginning with a three-day mandatory Project Management Essentials (PME) course followed by seven days of additional training that is chosen from a list of courses which provides students the option to decide on which courses and skills they want to further develop. The additional courses all have specific lengths ranging from one-day, two-day, three-day and five-day options which provides the student the flexibility to obtain the certificate without interfering with their regular schedule.
