Summary:
Renishaw’s pioneering laser scanning devices for the mining and quarrying industry allow operators to map and survey dangerous or inaccessible areas quickly, reliably, and accurately to give the managers key data needed to plan projects safely and mitigate risk, whilst optimizing productivity.
The Spatial Measurement Division designs world-class laser systems and sensors for high-performance mapping, surveying, positioning and measuring, even in extreme environments. Our laser systems for mine and quarry scanning, vessel-mounted waterway scanning, land-based mapping applications and marine dynamic positioning have been developed over many years of close work with those in the field, and have been adopted widely due to their reliability and ease of use.
Renishaw is one of the world’s leading engineering and scientific technology companies, with expertise in precision measurement and healthcare. The company supplies products and services used in applications as diverse as jet engine and wind turbine manufacture, through to dentistry and brain surgery.
