Dr. Nadia Mykytczuk

Dr. Nadia Mykytczuk is an environmental microbiologist, who is regarded as one of Canada’s top experts in biomining and bioremediation. She was an associate professor at Laurentian University from 2012 to 2021, training several highly qualified personnel and leading many projects that allowed her to collaborate with major mining industry partners on remediation applications. From 2016 to 2021, she held the role of Industrial Research Chair in Biomining, Bioremediation, and Science Communication. She is currently the President & CEO of MIRARCO and is serving as the Executive Director of the Goodman School of Mines.
