Paul Parisotto
Chairman, Noront Resources
Mr. Parissoto is Chairman of Noront Resources Ltd., as well as its current Interim CEO, a position he held previously from November 2008 to June 2009.
Mr. Parisotto is also the current President and CEO of Chantrell Ventures Corporation, as well as the President of Coniston Investment Corp., a private company which provides management services to the resource sector.
From February 2009 to October 2010 he was the President and CEO of Tamaka Holdings Inc., a private company involved in the exploration and development of gold in Ontario. He was formerly the President and CEO of Arizona Star Resource Corp., a company which was acquired by Barrick Gold Corporation in 2007.
Previously he was Senior Vice-President, Corporate Finance for Marleau, Lemire Securities Inc. (January 1995 to January 1998); Vice-President and Director, Investment Banking for HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc. (March 1998 to June 1999); and Manager, Original Listings at the Toronto Stock Exchange (1985 to 1994). During his tenure at the Toronto Stock Exchange he was involved in the listing process for over 250 companies.
Mr. Parisotto was also a Director of Pinetree Capital Ltd., RX Exploration Inc. (2011-2012) and Nevada Pacific Gold Ltd., a public company acquired by US Gold Inc.
Mr. Parisotto holds a B.A. in Economics from Laurentian University (‘83). He currently resides in Oakville, Ontario.
