Summary:
Wilderness First Aid (Basic) is designed for individuals who work or travel in remote locations. This course provides participants with an introduction to wilderness first aid, with an emphasis on prevention and practical skills for dealing with common illnesses and injuries in backcountry situations. The program includes basic CPR/AED training for the Lay Rescuer.

- Earth Sciences
- Environmental Geosciences
- Engineering
- Environmental Science and Studies
- Biology (Restoration Ecology)
- CROSH members
- Indigenous Studies/Indigenous Relations
- Faculty of Management programs
Registration:
Cost: $60/Student
Includes: Certificate of Completion, 8 Hour Wilderness First Aid Certificates from SIRIUS, Materials and Equipment Rentals, First Aid Textbook and Lunch.
(GSM is subsidizing this course to make it more affordable for students.)
