Laurentian University – University Club

(Fraser Building, 2nd floor)

935 Ramsey Lake Road

Sudbury, ON

5:00pm-7:00pm

Join other mining employers and Internationally Trained Professionals for an opportunity to meet and discuss how to improve the capacity to recruit, hire and retain international talent in Ontario.  You’ll have an opportunity to discuss some of today’s employment challenges and strategies to address them. M-PIN strives to raise awareness of career opportunities in the Ontario mining sector among internationally trained professionals (ITP).  Connecting ITP’s looking for meaningful work with those that are already working in mining as well as connecting with mining employers looking to fill labour gaps.  This is enabled via our ENSEMBLE: mining diversity network – M-PIN subgroup where membership is free; as well as our in-person networking events scheduled for Sudbury, Toronto and Timmins in 2019!

These professional networking events are best suited for Mining employers, Mining HR professionals, internationally trained professionals working in mining or internationally trained professionals looking for meaningful work.  This event is promoted in part by Professions North/Nord (Sudbury) and the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC); and funded by the Ontario Government.  For additional information about M-PIN and diversity and inclusion initiatives within the mining sector please contact Lorry Fortin at MiHR, 613-270-9696 x60.
