Robert Quartermain DSc. is a quintessential Canadian Mining entrepreneur. Early in his career he was involved in drilling off the David Bell Gold Mine for Teck in 1982; was President of Silver Standard Resources until 2010 when he started Pretium Resources to explore and develop the Brucejack Gold Mine in northern BC.
Robert will speak about the high-grade Brucejack Gold Mine located in the famous Golden Triangle in Northern British Columbia.
All graduate and undergraduate students and faculty are welcome to attend.
